John T. Seitz
John Seitz is Of Counsel to Belin McCormick and his practice emphasizes commercial lending, consumer lending, supply and distribution agreements and other types of commercial transactions.
Mr. Seitz’s practice has included advice to corporate and banking clients with respect to documentation of commercial loans, including syndicated loans. Mr. Seitz has specialized in matters governed by Articles 3, 4 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, and consumer lending issues, including those governed by Regulation Z and the Iowa Consumer Credit Code.
Mr. Seitz also frequently advises out-of-state lenders on Iowa laws affecting commercial and consumer loan transactions in Iowa, as well as conforming loan documentation to Iowa requirements.
Following his graduation from Stanford University in 1971, Mr. Seitz attended law school at the University of Iowa College of Law, graduating in 1976 with highest distinction and as a member of the Order of the Coif.
