Dennis P. Ogden
Dennis Ogden is a member of the firm who specializes in civil litigation.
Mr. Ogden has handled cases involving a wide variety of issues, including personal injury, trucking accidents, products liability, employment discrimination, employment contracts and covenants not to compete, defamation, real estate, property tax assessment, commercial contracts, and workers’ compensation.
Mr. Ogden has substantial trial and courtroom experience having conducted numerous jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts. He has argued several appellate matters, both in Iowa appellate courts and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also experienced in handling matters before administrative agencies, such as city and county boards of review, federal, state, and local civil rights commissions, and the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Mr. Ogden has been a frequent speaker concerning civil litigation and labor and employment law. Before joining the Belin law firm, he previously practiced law with the firm of James, Galligan and Conlin, P.C., from 1982 to 1989.
