Joseph is solution driven. His goal is to partner with clients to drill down to the heart of issues, enabling clients to successfully navigate present controversies and avoid future disputes.

Since joining the firm, Joseph has been involved in a wide range of disputes spanning bankruptcy, white collar crime, toxic tort, intellectual property, post-M&A, and finance and banking. In doing so, Joseph has assisted a broad array of clients: from burgeoning family businesses, to local government entities, to large multi-national corporations.

Joseph joined the litigation group at Belin McCormick in 2019 after graduating from Northwestern University’s School of Law. At Northwestern, Joseph assisted clients engaged in investor and mortgage fraud disputes as a student attorney in the Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Complex Litigation group. As a member of Northwestern’s Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot Court team, Joseph represented the team during its first-place finish at the Loyola University Pre-Moot Competition and subsequently traveled to Vienna to compete against over 350 international teams. Joseph also served as the Executive Articles Editor of Northwestern’s Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and the Vice President of Northwestern’s Intellectual Property Law Society.

Joseph is strongly committed to community engagement. While in Chicago, Joseph worked with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ Guardian ad litem division, aiding in the representation of minor children in custody disputes. He also mentored Chicago middle-school and high-school students as a member of a Street Law team, introducing students to practical legal principles.

Joseph hails from a small farm outside Maquoketa, Iowa. Joseph and his wife, Rachel (a native of Sioux Center, Iowa), met in piano studio class while they were both pursuing music degrees. Joseph and Rachel share a mutual love of music, board games, reading, baking, and their Golden-Irish puppy, Luna.
