Chloe enjoys the law because it never stops teaching. What keeps the work interesting is the constant learning it requires, and the challenge of taking something complicated and explaining it clearly, whether the audience is a client, colleague, judge, or jury.
During law school, Chloe worked at local firms while serving as a fellow in the legal writing department, a research assistant, and Research Editor of the Drake Law Review. Before joining Belin McCormick, Chloe clerked for Justice Christopher McDonald of the Iowa Supreme Court. Working inside the state’s highest appellate court gave her a unique view of where a case could ultimately land, and that perspective informs how she thinks through legal questions from the start.
Outside the office, she drinks far too much coffee, explores the Des Moines metro with her family, and travels whenever she has the chance.
