Summer Program: Meet Our 2026 Summer Associates

Our summer program is designed to provide law students with a realistic picture of what it is like to work at Belin McCormick by providing a broad range of projects to expose summer associates to a variety of practice areas. The program provides real client work, with opportunities to work on active matters, shadow attorneys, and observe client calls, meetings, depositions, and trial proceedings. We try to assure each summer associate has the opportunity to observe portions of a trial, hearings, depositions, business closings, real estate closings or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

The summer program reflects Belin McCormick's work-life balance philosophy—our attorneys often socialize together as a team. Our incoming class of summer associates attend firm-sponsored events that are designed to facilitate an introduction of the summer associates to Des Moines and the opportunities the city has to offer.
